I still remember exactly what it feels like to be a beginner student, taking those first lessons to learn the guitar. It can seem a daunting task, almost like starting to learn a new language that you haven’t spoken before. However, with the right teacher and approach to learning, you can quickly build up the foundation knowledge to be able to play the songs you enjoy listening to.

I have a very student-focused approach to my lessons, moving through the content at a pace that suits the individual. From the beginning, you’ll understand what a fantastic instrument the guitar is and what an exciting new journey you’ve undertaken.

I will cater my lessons based on the your desires and what it is specifically you want to learn, drawing on a wide range of different musical styles to give you songs that you will want to practice at home. I will create resources specifically to suit you and your learning needs. There is such a sense of achievement and pride that comes with hitting those strings and hearing a song you love to come out of the guitar for the first time. This is what I aim to help you to do during my lessons.

You can be rest assured your lessons will run at your own pace allowing you to maximise your lesson time without pressure. You will be provided small home-tasks to complete between lessons and we will work together to ensure you get the most out of learning to play the guitar.
