Do you teach complete beginners?

Yes, I have taught many beginner students over the years. Here at LiverpoolGuitarLessons you never stay a beginner for long, I will have you playing along to your favourite songs in no time.

Do you teach children?

Yes, I teach people fo all ages. Parents are more than welcome to join us for the guitar lesson if you wish to sit in. I also hold an Enhanced DBS for your peace of mind, as well as having many years teaching experience.

Where are you based?

I teach my guitar lessons from a dedicated teaching space located at Beetham Tower, Old Hall Street, L3 9BD. You can see a rough map below of where I am based, click on the map to bring up this location on Google Maps. My full teaching address will be provided upon you booking your first lesson.

Do you teach electric, acoustic and classical guitar?

Yes, you can take your lessons in all three, the choice is yours.

Do I need to own a guitar before I start my first lesson?

It is advisable that you own a guitar and bring it to each one of your lessons. However, I do have a spare guitar if you do not currently own one.

What happens if I have to cancel a lesson?

All lessons are to be paid for up front. If any lessons are to be cancelled you’re to let me know by 9pm the day before, otherwise the fee will be applied to this lesson.

Lessons can be cancelled at short notice in extreme exceptional circumstances

Do I have to attend guitar lessons every week?

Not at all, we can have lessons whenever you want. 

Where can I buy my first guitar?

The two places I’d recommend are either Dawsons just off of Church Street in Liverpool City Centre or Curly’s on Renshaw Street. 

Do you do home visits?

All home visits require an extra fee £1 for the trip plus 25p per minute of travel time via car from L3 9BD.

Do you teach other instruments?

If you’re not feeling like the guitar is quite right for you, I also offer piano lessons for similar rates. Feel free to check out my other site or contact me for any particular inquiry.
